Don't want Shea Weber for what it's going to take to get him now. 5 years ago yes. Flyer have young D that will be here in 2 years or less, Weber isn't needed. A young defenseman with NHL experience yes, but not a 30 year old on a huge cap hit contract seemingly forever - twpguy
you guys can sign brian strait to a 5 year 25 mil contract this summer when the isles let him walk as a ufa, you don't need weber. |

Ek... you need a new plan. We all like HB due to the community of users but I would bet that community has lost faith in your predictions.
This is not entirely your fault. It is simple harder to make trades in a cap era.
So why not run blogs about teams with Cap issues? This things are provable and often fall through the cracks of the general media.
I fear your business model is starting to look, to many regs, irrelevant.
I, for one, do not watch the videos. I never came here for that and it is too time consuming.
You do have a history of making changes.... you seem to have fallen away from your e-system, which I thought was a good system... (well, in relation to those with no systems) and you used to offer videos of Julie interviewing people. That had mixed results but it showed you were willing to try new things.
How is this:
Give away your "Chart" (Do you still do a chart?) for one month for free and I bet you get more add revenue than you would have offering 3.99 for the chart.
I would hate to see you go the way of the dinosaur. |

I don't think the preds are gonna trade weber but I think if they do it's gonna be a trade involving malkin, Ryan nugent hopkins, or Ryan johansen, personally I would want to take johansen though, the preds desperately need a #1 center and I don't see many teams who can realistically offer that up |

A) If Nash is EVER thinking about trading weber, josi, or jones they are 100% looking towards getting a center, not eberle, or yak or whatever BS.
B) Jones is the one to be traded if any of them. Josi is a #1 Dman being payed 4 mil till 2020. And don't forget that Webers contract is already over half payed... I doubt a very fiscally responsible team like Nashville is going to let him walk after paying the majority of his extremely front loaded salary. If they ever do hink about it, they also have to think about the recapture penalties if he retires early, and then realize it's a terrible idea. So yeah, luck with that. - the_dough_boy

Not over malkin but yea over rnh johansen has barely scratched his potential and on a crappy blue jackets team he's done pretty damn well and he's only 23
I think any 3 of these players involved would be good for Nashville but I personally would enjoy johansen[/img] |

yeah columbus couldnt use a guy that plays 25-30 mins a night against the opponents best, and manages 15-20g and 45-50pts every year
Weber is probably gonna be one of the leagues best for 7 more years |

Weber for Malkin? - PetterKane
That's really a good deal for both teams.... Geno gets his own team & Webs could be the stabilizer Pitt needs.. |

As much as I agree with you, and I do think eventually Pittsburgh will need to get rid of one of either Crosby or Malkin. Right now I can't see them getting rid of their best player, especially when Crosby is playing so bad right now and the only player Kessel seems to have chemistry with is Malkin. Plus I can't see Weber putting up with any egos... (Crosby)

No it doesn't bc until Weber has completely declined, most teams covet his skill level. - Ur Not Me
Agreed. Teams don't care about the last few years of a contract if they like the players current performance. Don't believe me? Look at the contracts that were signed in the last few years, or wait formChicago to offer 7X8yrs to Seabrooke, or what Toronto is going to pay for Stamkos, etc... |

He's signed until he's 41...
That contract hurt his trade value big time, unless you guys think he'll be a stud into his late 30's. - Nucker101
And that's all thanks to your fav team, the Flyers. |

It would be RNH or Eberle + tho. |
