Beat up a little bit but in good spirits. Couple of bites on both ears and a good bite on the neck. Thankfully nothing went into muscle tissue. Its just a royal pain the ass with aftercare now. Thanks for asking.

i been there with dogs... had one get a piece of his ear bit off by a crazy ass dalmation that busted through his invisible fence, my dog was not on the leash but he was well trained off leash. couldn't believe that dalmation came after us like that, after he took a chunk of my dog's ear off he was yelping like an sob. I guess maybe the collor wasn't working. My mom was pissed at me cause he was off leash but it happened within 3 feet of me i still don't know what a leash would have done in that instance but I didn't walk dogs in the neighborhood without one after that. the ppl ended up getting rid of that dalmation, (frank)er was crazy.

Every one keeps saying the future is bright and this team is 3 to 4 years away. Ok that's great. Even if all the D-men prospects pan out (which we know they won't) in 4 years what does the forward core look like? Giroux and Voracek and what else?

The Flyers need a ton of skill up front, and it's not like going out to a magic tree and plucking the players you want. There are good dmen in the pipeline which people should be excited about, but you still need players to put the puck in the net.

The positive thing 3, 4, 5 years down the road is the absolutely awful contracts that is impeding this franchise's ability to improve will be off the books. That is something to look forward to for sure.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yeah, dalmatians can be crazy. They're so heavily inbread that many have developed a ton of temperament problems. You'd never think of it since they're always portrayed in such great light.

I'm at the point where I just change direction with my guys whenever I see another dog. It's sad that these things happen, especially since my guys are the gentlist, most dopey dogs ever but most of it can be attributed to human error in the end.

wasnt talking about Vinny' or RJ. They are players who can't be moved. Raffl and Read may fetch something. This team is going no where this year. Let kids play if possible.
- 3flyerkids

For what Raffl makes, for sound defense and the ability to kick in some goals, I keep him around. He's not going to bring much from another team, his cap space is negligible, so he would be a 3rd liner for future years.

Read is getting paid a bit too much for what he's bringing this year (and last), but he's not fetching much either.

They won't have to eat money on Streit. He was top 10 in D man points last year. His cap hit is hardly terrible and other than this surgery he usually doesn't miss much time. At the deadline no one is going to have Hexy over a barrel on Streit. If they want a vet PP QB they'll pony up.

You're serverely undervaluing Luke if you don't think a team will offer a late 2nd at the deadline for him. Just because he isnt worth a 1st anymore doesn't mean he has zero value whatsoever.

- hereticpride

They may very we'll have to eat $$...with another year left onhis deal may not be as many suiters as u think as teams are in a cap crunch

I like luke. Just don't see a team giving a late 2 for a guy hat will likely be on the bottom pairing ...there may be better options. He hasn't been worth a 1 since he was with the leafs

I honestly don't see how Luke wouldn't bring back a 2nd at the deadline. Coburn got a 1st, roster player and another pick.

We'll see on Streit. It all depends on who's after him I guess. Hexy will probably only eat money if there return is really nice.

More stat fun. Patrick Kane by himself has more points than the Raffl G Jake line combined.

"The Flyers are officially the most boring team in hockey right now. And Hextall has chosen the long long path to rebuilding. 3.5-Years into sucking now. I am predicting at very least 4-5 more. Welcome to Toronto fellow Flyer fans; Where you will scuffle for years, but never be quite bad enough to get better. "

its silly to say they aren't bad enough to get better. u just have to draft well to get better. and I am not worried about G being 2-3 yrs older. look how valuable Briere was at his age to the Flyers when signed here. they need to continue to draft well and improve the team.

Toronto in recent years haven't exactly drafted very well. At the very least we've had that going for us. It just sucks that D men take so long to develop.

We also haven't taken a truely offensive minded forward in the first round since JVR and Giroux from 2006 and 2007 all the way up until 2015 with Konecny. That plus the length of time it takes to get D prospects going really has put us in a bind over the last couple of years. We're drafting well. It's just that no one besides Ghost is here yet.

Hard to tell this early but at the deadline in an expiring deal I'm sure someone will be looking.

I honestly think a 2nd from a playoff bound team is fair for Luke at this point but who knows, I probably wouldn't complain if a team offered a 3rd and a future 4th either.

Over/under on Kelly ditching the Eagles before seasons end?

The guy is such a weasel. Takes no blame whatsoever.

I'm honestly waiting to see him trade away whatever talent is left before he leaves just to (frank) the franchise over even more.

The only chance the Flyers had to make the playoffs this year included the younger players being able to produce ....Namely Couturier and Schenn ....but guys like Read and Raffl have been very disappointing as well. Simmond's has basically become a PP specialist. We all knew the D was below NHL standards...all competent but not a lot of skill....the Best guy coming in is in the twilight of his career...they Flyers continue to be in "Cap Hell"....Macdonald is a top 4 d man...he only had to go to the AHL to reach that goal...Vinny is dead cap money as is Umberger, so it's not like the "rich" Flyer can buy their way out of this mess.
Im sure Hextall is trying but there's not much point in trades when they will probably only result in side ways results....one thing to consider...I was at Monday's game and have never seen so many empty seats....I have never gotten those seats for so little $....snider can't be happy and at 103 it's not like he can preach patience....but what choice do they have???

- landros 2

problem is Simmonds isn't producing on the PP either.

Simmonds in my opinion needs a whole new set of players to play with at ES. Seriously, he doesn't gel with anyone. The PP needs to be tweaked in general. I'm not worried about him producing there. If they get pucks to the net he will score.
