I think a huge focus ever since Craig took over and it has carried over to now has been not taking penalties.

They hit as a club, but they are pushed around too often, along with Mason or other players being run with the guys doing nothing after.

Need to stand up for each other. Consistently. Not Voracek going crazy on Scuderi once a year or Emery.

Gagner fought Chiasson when he boarded Laughton.

Program = steroids?

It was actually 14 AHL games following a training camp and three preseason games with the Flyers, but who's counting? Only people who can count, I guess.

Seriously, why even bring it up again?

So far through a quarter of a season, what player has exceeded expectations for the Flyers?

The one that immediately comes to mind is Nuevirth. Who else?

Yup Neuvirth is about it. You could maybe make a case for Ghost if he keeps it up, but thats about it.

its kinda funny you wanna insinuate I can't count when i recited the amount of games it says he played on his player profile on the flyers very page, furthermore the number bill threw out is different from what you said. can't let it go can you?

Great win!! Nothing better than beating the Rags on their home ice!!

My 3 stars of the game:

1. Wayne Simmonds
By far, his best game of the year. #17 was a beast today!!

2. Steve Mason
Though he wasn't tested much after the first period, he made some crucial saves early. If the Rangers score in the first, its likely a very different game

3. Michael Del Zotto
He played some huge minutes today and was extremely solid in all 3 zones.

Honorable mentions
Couturier
Medvedev
