basically last year and the start of this season, the collective here said, he needed to stay in the ahl... according to the flyers own site he played a grand total of 7 games for the phantoms, now the spin is: well he tore his acl and made great strides in his game while rehabbing... as if him playing playing with the big club last year would have ... how do you guys like to say it? oh "rushed him"

It's hard to know who then becomes the puppet master. The problem with a corporate ownership can be lack of support at the corporate level and lack of understanding of what a sports team needs in leadership and organization that is different from the rest of the corporate entities. Recent long-term good teams like Detroit, P'burgh, and Chicago have a strong central owner/managing general partner with a passion for the game and a commitment to what it takes across the organization. (I'm not really sure how engaged Anschutz has been with the Kings.)

I think. As most of us are, just having some sick fun at the expense of the organization. Some back lash is expected after what has happened since the cup final and the "season that shall not be named" isn't so far in the rear view mirror.

I guess we won't know till tomorrow if Mase is actually going to start against the Islanders.
