I get what you are saying. But I am one of those who believe Vinny WILL retire after the 4th year of the contract. So I am willing to trade that 3 million for one season so that we have the full 4.5 from then on out. - MBFlyerfan
Honestly, there's no evidence that he will ever walk away before his contract is up. |

No, I just go by what I have read and statements I have heard. But yes, you are right there.

Remember the speculation he would walk after the $2 mill summer bonus?
He hired a trainer instead with the same results. |

I don't think a writer like Bill Meltzer posts that information multiple times if there isn't anything to it.

And maybe, just maybe, after working so hard and still being completely ineffective. he realizes that it's time to retire after this season? |

Yeah, but that speculation was for a different reason. IE Speculating he would try to find another place where he will play rather than sitting in the press box.
Retirement is a different animal, and I don't think anyone was saying he would retire after getting that $2,000,000. |

No, but Bill, and others, have mentioned more than once that the wink wink nod nod was that he would retire after year 4.

MJL just told me that Bill has posted this multiple times.
Maybe I missed it multiple times. |

One can only hope, but I don't know anyone who ever walked away from money.
Despite what Tampa paid him. |

Just to be clear, are you saying Giroux sucks or Voracek sucks? Or both?

Apples and oranges comparison. Play Gostisbehere all game long against the Carter and Thornton lines and see what happens. - MJL
Speaking of apples and oranges....lol
Play Delzotto, Streit or Schultz, who 's been in the league a long time and ALL those guys have difficulty with big body's....Ghost has held his own defensively and has been by far the best offensive player from the back end since he's arrived. |
