Bad enough that we are losing our best defensive defenseman who leads the team Dmen in Ice time, Hits and +- now we are losing our top line wing all because Hammer and or his fiancée or wife don't like NY and his family misses him? Nah, however they traded Oshie so I think Snow should have been all over this with Oshie and Shattenkirk coming here with Hammer and KO going there being the center pieces of a trade, unless Travis didn't tell Snow until after Oshie was traded.

Meh. Oshie is possibly one of the most overrated players in the NHL. Right up there with Okposo.

Playing with an elite offense like WSH he's managed to put up a whopping 9pts in 17gp. On pace for a whopping 43pt season. His only noteworthy talent is the shootout. Other than that, he's an average player.

His contract is unbelievably attractive on top of him being a good Dman. Just remembering how he has all over malign in the playoffs a couple of years ago pounding him constantly, man this just sucks for the team.
