Massive galactic war, between two full armies? I can get down with that. The original clone wars cartoon from cartoon network(not the CGI one) was (frank)ing awesome.

But the actual movies skipped over all the best stuff. so that we could see more about intergalactic trade diplomacy, and awkward, awkward romantic scenes.

The last season of the CGI one is pretty good, especially the last 3 episodes. You have to check out season 2 of Rebels.

Nothing like this one.
Phantom menace had horrible cinematography (which showed in the trailer), all shot in front of a green screen (which showed in the trailer) and had a very popcorn feel to it.

This one doesnt imo. Now it may still suck....but if feels much different.

That was always the part of the debate that I don't think both sides ever understood. It was often said by the pro-bozak crowd that Phil doesn't perform as well with Grabo and Kadri.......then the anti-bozak crowd would always say that Phil performs better without Bozak.....but the fact was we never really saw them apart. We never really saw anyone else get a solid amount of time centering Phil, and we never really saw Bozak in a top six role without Phil.

As for Bozak himself, he's looking more like the NCAA player that 30 NHL teams were chasing. He's nothing special, but he is capable of a top 6 role. I still think he'd make a decent winger too, especially with his high career shooting percentage.

The script I read/saw seemed to indicate a very confusing plot, trying to emulate A New Hope but failing. It did try and correct the mistakes of Phantom Menace (not introducing your protagonist till 40 minutes into the movie), but it left Luke on the backburner big time, and I'm not even sure Snoke is in the movie for longer than 1 minute. Same with Luke (1 minute, maybe 30 seconds).

I'm a little fuzzy on which movie was which, as I've only seen two of the last three (the Jar Jar Binks one and the one where a young Darth Vader gets burned up real good - and I fell asleep during the latter), and I watched 'em both at drive-ins, but the one thing that really stood out for me was the Darth Maul character was really cool, you had no idea who or what he was, and then they killed him off immediately.

If the intent was to sell double-sided light sabres, bravo.

If the intent was to make a good movie, FIAL.
