Is it too much to ask for 1 tank season from start to finish
Just get 1 more top 3 pick and be done... next season I can jump back on the hope train - senstroll

Planning to tank isn't a good way to build team character.

i didnt say I wanted the leafs to plan to tank, and in fact I expected the opposite.. but as a Fan who has no actual impact on anything I can hope for 1 more elite prospect
The guy is playing a good 200' game, but I thought he was already doing that last year.
My reasoning behind him being snake bitten is that simple pre-scouting will reveal that when he carries the puck into the zone he will skate straight at the defender and try a little toe drag wrister from the top of the circle. Either through or just past the defenders legs. He doesn't even seem to be aiming for any particular part of the net, just sort of hoping the shot is screened/tipped enough to sneak through. Goalies are now expecting this, and are ready for the obvious.
Kadri needs to start attempting to go wide now and again, and make a pass to his wingers a little more often. Even on odd man rushes, he is always carrying and then taking the shot. I have rarely seen him make a pass on odd man rushes so far this season. The one exception that comes to mind is the drop pass to JVR vs the Nucks, and that threw Miller off a bit, and JVR put it home.
By changing up his repertoire, he wont be so predictable, and the goals will start coming more often. If he passes off to his wingers and then drives the net, he might bang in a rebound or be open for an open tap in etc. - vermie22
a player who is on pace for like 350 shots needs to keep doing exactly what they are doing...goals will come

last year was a full blown tank for the Leafs. just so happened to be in a year with the two most epic tank jobs in recent history.

The trailer for the Phantom Menace was great. - AdamFrench
Nothing like this one.
Phantom menace had horrible cinematography (which showed in the trailer), all shot in front of a green screen (which showed in the trailer) and had a very popcorn feel to it.
This one doesnt imo. Now it may still suck....but if feels much different.
