Plot has been getting possibly the worst ref treatment in the NHL... really not sure why, but the instant even up call says all that needs to be for that one.

That was a good period. Still making some unforced errors passing but they did well overall. Crosby actually looked like the real Crosby instead of this season's doppelganger.

Zone entry on the PP is still pretty awful. I don't understand why they try that drop pass so early in the rush. Lead man should carry it until at least the red line before dropping it, not dropping it at the pens blue line. Gives the PK the chance to clog the NZ instead of driving them back as lead man.

There were bad shifts and bad plays, but guys responded and bounced back and generally looked like they're hungry and want it.

The person who embodies this right now is Crosby. In response to both you and Zac, this is the Crosby who's the best player in the world. I haven't seen him fly like this all season. This is the player I love.

Blind squirrel on Bennett. He still sucks. He is the second best Denver product out of two in this game. Zucker is a lot better.

Baby steps. They are doing well at ES at least.
The 2nd PP unit looks better because they keep it simple; just dump it in and shoot right when they get a chance.

Yep Ditto.

I'm mixed on how I feel about Sprong throwing hits. I like that he is trying to be better all around player but I think he is young and should just focus on his game which is offense first.
