it will be a 1 for 1 trade with EDM- B. Schenn for Yakupov. With McDavid out, B. Schenn will fill the center role for the Oilers & Flyers receive a true LW. Change of scenery blah blah blah

not saying i like it...feels like another JVR for L Schenn deal.

They are more than fine with Nuge and Draisaitl. They are much better off with the natural scoring winger IMO.

not only that but is a natural center. But they play him on the wing and have coots as the 2c who couldnt hit a broad side of a barn with a puck. But yah, lets trade B schenn. Brilliant!

Couturier is a much better center than Schenn is. Schenn is better suited to play wing, which is why they have him playing there.
