They played a full 60 minute game and then a deflected puck with 20 seconds left to earn a point goes in to lose the game, sums up the first quarter of the season to me.

Didn't think Condra would drop the gloves, I liked it.

Stick with the Namestnikov-Stamkos-Kucherov line as it could be real dangerous, I think they got caught stuck in there own zone once but they had their chances tonight.

I definitely agree with Arty that Matt Carle has got to go. I would like to see Witkowski or Koekkoek over him.

Stralman was off and Carle sucked, but other then that I thought it was a good game. Loungo was on like Donkey Kong. If we continue to play like that the wins will come.

100% agree.

And hopefully they get back healthy I couldnt believe Johnson, Paquette, Drouin were out to go along with Palat but it did show the depth of the team. And I really did like that top line and hope they get some more games together.

But still. If we dominate a game and can't find the back of the net once, then something is off. Luongo played well, but it's not like he had to make too many difficult saves.

What did the Corsi look like Stu?

I think our scoring woes begin and end with Stu. Shuffling lines and sacrificing goats isn't working.

That's two games we put deflections in the net just not ours, maybe they'll try deflections on the other teams net from that area they know it works. Waive Carle bite the bullet. Tell your buddy Stammer to sh*t or get off the pot, even he has to know what's going on around him.

If you retain $2m of Carle he's tradeable. Stamkos isn't gone, but it doesn't look good for all those Stammer jersey wearers.

I think they only have to retain 1.5m, I think Carle is serviceable to a team at 4m I just wonder if it happens at all. If he is not traded I don't see them buying him out until after next year when there is only 1 year left on his deal so I hope he gets traded.

As for Stamkos, I would say its still 50/50 no one really knows but come the trade deadline in my opinion we will have our answer one way or the other. I hope he resigns and pulls a Crosby say 9.1m as that do-able for what he brings and its hard to replace his production, he is a stand up guy in real life so I haven't given up yet. But if he decides to leave and the Bolts are in the playoff hunt I want him to stay to go for another cup run but if the Bolts are out of contention I wonder if he would accept a trade to a Stanley Cup contending team at the deadline, even if he doesn't resign with that team they would still have to part with good pieces to add his scoring touch for a cup run.

These next two months are so crucial for the Lightning in almost every aspect such as playoffs or not, injured players, Stamkos situation, etc.

I think you're being WAY to Optimistic about Stamkos and his chances of staying in Tampa Bay. The reason he would stay is another shot at the Stanley Cup, and right now that doesn't look like a reality.

Yes she is smoking hot and she is a hockey goalie, she helped with the girls hockey program that the Bolts held at the beginning of the year that my niece attended. Her hockey helmet was all done up in star wars, my niece has a picture with her and Anne Schleper the US Women's Hockey player.

Probably am but I will stay 50/50 until the trade deadline, if he is not resigned by then he is a goner. That's where I am at, if he is a goner then it will get real interesting come trade deadline day.

Did anyone see that Brayden Point was declared the best player in the entire CHL (WHL, OHL, QMJHL) by Canada's main U20 national scout. That is crazy, sounds like another gem in waiting, I know he small so I hope he puts the pounds on.
