I think they made their decision to keep Duchene when they traded ROR. If they trade him now their second line center would be John fuking Mitchell.

Phaneuf is an allstar defenseman playing BIG minutes with 9 points in 16 games this year. Definitely worth 2 1sts

In reality... IMO the reason why Rielly isn't getting PP minutes is because the Leafs are pumping up Phaneuf's value. They are giving him PP time and 5v5 minutes vs worse players.
