Like I said, the team played a very sound but boring game.
I didnt bury my head in disgust with any play last night.

- Fakepartofme

I actually found it enjoyable. But i can see it would look boring. Honestly, with Nashville's D, it's very hard to play and exciting game against them (Ottawa game aside, they happen once in a blue moon).

I long for the days of Phaneuf bashing and defending...

Both Reimer and Bernier are average at best goalies.

I'm glad that Reimer is getting a bit of a groove going here, but neither one of these goalies is the answer long-term, and neither one is better than the other career-wise, so why are we even debating between the two?

I don't want to see this team do well. Mostly because I watched Auston Matthews at the U18's and 2 games in the NLA.

Not hard to understand.
Up until this season, our average goalie Bernier's stats were better than our average goalie Reimer's. However, this season Reimer has played much better (outside of the one horrible goal per game which didnt occur last night) and stats are reflective of that. Good for him. If he keeps winning, you keep him in....just like the coaching staff has done for the past several years. Go with the goalie who is performing better.
easy to comprehend.

- Fakepartofme

thanks for making this easy to comprehend.

I obviously didn't because it would seem you didn't understand any of the specific questions - so you didn't answer them.

well it would seem - that the team would definitely get the credit when Reimer is in net... and we'll have to wait to find out if that is the case when and if they get a win with Bernier in net.
- BorjeFan4Ever

I will say, i think (IMO) that the teams seems to enjoy playing in front of Reimer more than Bernier.

Reimer's "battling" style may rub off on the team?

We shouldn't have hired the "best coach in the entire WORLD. in any sport. he's an utter genius" then.

I would honestly doubt it. Like we all hate Dion right? But we still want the team to do well. Don't think hating a player trumps seeing your team do well.

Could be wrong though.

- walshyleafsfan

Same could be said for Bozak.

I'm just happy that they won.

Well, they only scored once......again

Imagine the heat Blozak would be taking on these boards if he was shooting blanks like Kadri

I reckon he'd have a cup by now.

The players do seem to be buying in though. Even guys who normally mail it in, seem to be giving a lot more effort this year. Good to see.

I've been really impressed with Kadri to be honest (sounds weird with 1 goal). Everything about his game (except points) seems to have improved massively.

Now, it may have to do all the other forwards we have on the team, but when Kadri (and JVR to a lesser extent, just) step on the ice, they actually look threatening and carry the play constantly in the favour of the Leafs. It may just be an optical illusion, as after them we get to see PAP, Spalling, Winnik etc.

You don't know that for sure, Reimers played ok..guys starting to learn the system

We sure seem to be keeping teams off the score sheet - maybe it's a bit of luck - time will tell
