Lou Saban is one of my favorite coaches for the Bills.... One tough SOB....

He sure was. Wasn't he the HC when the Bills won their AFL championships?

I know I have not been following the Sabres too closely YET this season but I watched the last 2 games..... I can't believe how much improved this team seems to be. They play with energy from start to finish which has been lacking for the last 5 years. They have a greater sense of "compete" than I have seen in 7 or 8 years...... I am totally optimistic about this team........

the team has won 5 out of the last 6 games

only the rangers are hotter

They are no Stanley Cup team for sure but I absolutely think this team will compete for a playoff spot...

How about that Bustheart! I am loving watching his game evolve. Especially his play in front of the net on power plays. He is going to be special.

Said it in Garths threads before last two games, bringing it here until it fails:

Man I am starting to get really excited again now. Starting to finally find some chemistry. Lines are staying consistent.

Ullmark is a helluva goalie most of the time.

Can't wait to add our best forward and defender back into the mix too.

Canucks game has been my favorite by far, that was the best game ive been to in a lonnggggg time. Even at the tampa game we went down early but it didnt seem like we were losing. They are fun to watch again! And the arena is finally rocking again! My favorite by far is all the kids 5-10 chanting Jack Eichel and cheering everytime he touches the puck. Its awesome that they will get to grow up with him being there idol.

Ristolainen is as legit a top pairing as he is billed as. Love that kid's game right now.

Only thing that I am not too happy about is that Girgensons has fallen off and back to just a checking and 3rd line role. We saw last year that he could score and play with Ennis. Wish he would get more chances but I can certainly see other guys offensive potential being higher so to play them makes more sense.

Jack has played all season.

I like Kane, but Eichel is by far our best forward and it's not even close.

Splitting hairs today already I see.... lol.

The hope was that Eichel would lift Kane's game that much higher. Hope it stays true.

Girgs is getting plenty of chances, just can't seem to bury anything. It's like he used all his puck luck the last 2 years.

I'd also argue that O'Reilly is better than Kane, though I think they're pretty close. I've loved O'Reilly's game for the most part this year though.

I would agree ROR is playing great hockey for us right now. The faceoff wins are just such a huge part of the game and having our control to play.

I think that he will be worth every penny.

he is getting chances but they are as the 3C for the most part. I meant letting him play top 6.

Does anyone know why ROR is not a player choice when doing a jersey off of Sabres.com???

Only player that I can tell is missing from the drop down menu.
