I never understood what goes on in a guy's head that they'd bother to insult someone's family. Like do you really have that many issues that you have to go there with another person? how does Burrows even know about Tootoo's family?? child's play.

Burrows has always been a chicken poop, turtling, diving scumbag so no surprise he would pull that. I was surprised at how chippy this game got. Terrible officiating both ways probably helped that along.

I think talking poop to a guy is fine but you should talk poop about him rather than things that were out of his control. I'm sure Tootoo has gotten the fair share of poop talking about him being alcoholic from guys around the league, but bring in up family matters is across the line. If it was about the suicide of his brother, it increasingly offensive because of Rypien in Vancouver a few years ago. Some subjects just aren't appropriate to be brought up and this is one of them.

The officiating was very questionable both ways all night. Doubt Larsson even gets a phone call about that one.

Shocked to be seeing so much really enjoyable Devils hockey this year. I was sure it was going to be a horrific season... just watching them play is better then last year and guys look like they're having fun. Nice to see Kalinin finally score.

This isn't a very skilled team across the board but I think we got a bit of everything here kind of like a Swiss Army knife. We have won games almost andifferent way each time this game being the most physical but the boys seem to feed off the fighting and what not. To me this team has solid defence when needed we have opportunistic scorers ( right now anyways ) a ton of charisma and this is the first time in a while I feel there really isn't a team in the league that plays a style that is our cryptonite anymore now that we aren't godly slow. Plus we have elite goaltending and a capable back. I also think the boys are having fun and are enjoying wins even when we won games last year I get there feeling the vibe wasn't a good as it is now. I am starting to believe if Ray can pull of a decent trade like the palmieri one we could really make the play offs.

Also loved prusts Chirp tweet to Farnham lol maybe if your team didn't have scum on it that paid for what he said other people on your team wouldn't have to get mugged. Guy is firing the fans up in our building he can act as excited as he wants I don't care if it was against a 19 year old either pretty sure Lucic or Wilson weren't soft 19 year olds and this is a guy who took a run at mcdavid in a pre season game lol

Wow. I was expecting a replay of a terrible hit.

Not trying to wear homer glasses, but that hit really wasn't anything illegal. There's two main angles, and from the ref's perspective I can see how he thought it was a hit to the head, but the side angle completely negates that. I don't think he gets suspended. If they don't want to make the ref look like an ass, one game max. Just stinks that Larsson will have that first offender status if so.

That being said. Despite a shaky outing from Kinkaid, great win for the Devils. As mentioned earlier... relentless. There's nothing to lose and everything to prove. Gotta love the attitude this year.

Right because if someone who is known to be an idiot comes up to you and says disrespectful things that have nothing to do with hockey so that must mean you said something also or first ? People don't just start thinks because they don't know how to act ? Like I am pretty sure it is a lot more documented about tootoo turning his troubled life around then there is with whatever problems it is burrows has. I mean it's one thing to try and justify it by saying he was just trying to get under his skin but then was no where to be found to fight like a man when tootoo gave him that chance and your doing a hell of a job trying to take one of the other teams most useless players off out of the game or off their game then go for someone who can actually contribute to the outcome of the game. I seriously seriously don't know if there are two whinier fan bases then the canadien and Canucks an being a Canadian it's sad to say. That game had everything fights penalties overtime 3on 3 scrums, emotion and all half of you fans can do is whine and complain and go on to say the game was boring hell I would take a game like that even in a loss every day of the week over watching some team crush another 5-1.
