The Giants, Patriots, and Tennessee games showed he is a flawed passer.

What has helped him has been games like today where we go up by two scores thanks to the defense (or other team) and the run game.

I would still look to draft a QB early

Not that qb rating means a lot but he has been one of best in NFL this year. #6 overall.

I have no idea whether or not Tyrod Taylor is the long term answer at QB going forward, but the difference between him and EJ Manuel is night and day.

He started off slow vs the pats and the other two teams i believe several of his guys "watkins, mccoy, karlos" were out. I'm used to seeing a bad QB look bad against bad teams. Its nice to see a QB like him come in and make plays. Even good QB's play bad sometimes. I'll cut him some slack being a new starter and all

We never blizted last year and we got to the QB often. This year we are still rushing the front 4. Idk how much defensive scheme goes into the front 4 rushing

Dareus isn't supposed to rush, he's supposed to occupy blocks. Stupid, but that's the scheme, and you have Mario dropping into coverage. The main difference this year is that there's no push up the middle unless it's from a blitz, so offenses can just key on Mario and Jerry and push them downfield out of trouble. Rex's defense relies heavily on the blitzer getting to the QB.

I don't care if we don't get another sack the rest of the year. If we limit teams to 17 ppg we'll win a lot more games.

Yes, it's true. It's ego. It's his scheme, and it worked with the Jets and Ravens, so why wouldn't it work here? He's the greatest defensive mind the game has ever seen!(sarcasm)


But, seriously he's very inflexible, they're pretty bad at making adjustments mid-game. Why do you think teams get so many second half points against us? Sure, some of it is "garbage time" stuff, but points are points and yards are yards regardless of when they occur. If it wasn't for Hughes today Miami probably scores and either goes ahead or makes it close, and then it's a whole new ball game.

I definitely think he should start through next season barring any unforseen great QB'S become available.

They have yet to win two in a row. This franchise has missed the playoffs 15 years in a row. It was a good win, but they absolutely do not deserve the benefit of any doubt. This team still has a lot to prove.
