I think they have the talent, just not the experience. Which is why they are inconsistent some nights. They can dominant some playoff teams, or look lost vs others.

It's more what Buffalo is doing to themselves not what Vancouver is doing to them.
Buffalo's passing is horrid again today.
Tons of passes in skates.

Yep. Replace gorges with actual top pair guy and gionta with a real top 6 fwd and suddenly you've got a real good team. I agree that experience is a factor but when the gap is this large...

What sort of production are you looking from out of Gorges? He has never been a point producing defensemen...as long as he's keeping pucks out of his net that's all the production I am looking for out of his, especially in a 3rd pairing role.
