looks like he won't get his winger till the draft
- gerbe75pts

I know kane wasn't finishing before he got hurt but he was definitely the best option.

I missed part of the game, what happened to Ullmark?

P.S. Legwand sucks!!!

- sskkoo1

Legwand had two great opportunities and blew both of them

Outside of that we didn't look that great anyway. Second period was good but all these shots on net have to start turning into goals at some point.

Gudlevskis still needs to work on consistency, but could be a nice no. 1 goalie.

Legwand misses on two breakaways

Ennis shoots wide on a gaping net

Skunk goes in all alone up the slot and loses the puck

We had chances to win it. It's obvious Eichel is trying too hard to make things happen. And it's funny to say but so much of Gath's praise for ROR is true: Guy dogs the puck EVERYWHERE.

But that was a flat game. Surprised at the number of empty seats in the arena.

Aside from the penalties, I thought Weber played pretty well. He had at least 3 really nice hits that I recal, had the most "attitude" out there of anyone on D except Risto, and wasn't caught dead out of position on any plays I saw. Of course the penalties stunk but nobody can lay this loss on #6 alone, with all the aforementioned chances our forwards did not bury.

I'm a little sad/confused why Pysyk/McCabe have been seperated since they really play well together.

I'm not sure how anyone can stick up for Weber anymore. He is the epitome of a dying breed of defensemen in the NHL

I have been a fan of Weber's since he came up with Sekera and they had that great run together. I explained to my friend as we watched the game last night that Weber is actually much, much better than everybody gives him credit, and that all the criticism is purely a result of confirmation bias.

Then he had that shhity hit into the boards and took a penalty [we probably should have been on a power play at that point but it doesn't matter - we weren't], and then he flipped to puck out of the rink about 20 seconds after getting back on the ice.

OK. I surrender. It's not just confirmation bias. But I bet he's a really nice guy.

I think it's just the type of player he is. When Bogo comes back, he fills the void as a punishing physical defensemen.....But Bogo can also skate and push the puck up ice.

I want to like Weber, he tries his ass off....He just can't play for a playoff team IMO
