McDavid lost his edge on his own... Not sure if Manning falling on top caused the break. Also, thought it was odd that McDavid sat on the bench for the final few shifts of the period instead of heading right to the room. - flyguy12
Sometimes it's not obviously broken. He may have been trying to see if the pain would fade a bit.

Many figured this would be a long non-playoff year. It's just proving to be reality. Trading a goalie right now is nuts; it is finally a stable position.
That delay of game call on Neuvirth was horsesh1t. Two Oilers draped on him and being made to move the puck.

I don't even think I've ever seen that call before. They were asking him to give the puck to the other team. If a skater were to fall on top of the puck, the play is possibly blown dead.

There was a similar play the day before the Flyers' Wives Carnival in 2009. They were playing the Penguins, tied late in the 3rd period. Biron came out past the circles to cover the puck. In order to not get a penalty, he let it go, kind of throwing it behind his back...right to a Penguin (Sykora, maybe). He took it and fed a pass to Crosby for an open goal. I think the final was 5-4.
