How have Zads & Grigs been for you guys?
- chilliard77

Really like Zads, hes raw and unconventional but you see that is he going to be really good (hard to believe that only 2 other dmen are younger than him in the league). Roy has let the leash off him at times and he skates well for a big man.

Grigo has had steady games lately with limited ice time. Fan base is crying for him to get PP time since he is doing really nice subtle plays on the 4th line. Especially his passing on break outs.

Like them both but ROR is the better player now so it will always look like the Avs got the shorter end of the stick this season. But Zads, I think they have something very special with him

Girgensons deflection?

Edit: No, but another point for ROR.

I've been really impressed with O'Reilly. He may be my first Sabres jersey since the slug days.

Eichel and O'Reilly have 4 goals each. How long did that take last year to get two guys with 4 goals? Had to be more than 10 games, I would think.

Jack was at the side of the net. I'm talking about when Reinhart passed to him when he should've taken the shot.

ROR is a special player, there was never denying his ability, what gets me is the whole should have kept ror over duchene debate. MacKinnon now the star of the Avs and the face of the franchise, he's going to get a 7m avg extension soon. They couldn't keep ror, Mack, landeskog, Barrie, and ej, 1.5-2m in cap savings 2 years down the line is going to be huge for the Avs.

Sucks he is gone but Avs got what the needed and Sabres for a work horse

I hope the trade works out for both teams. Zadorov should be a hell of a player, give him a couple years and he could be a top pairing guy.

I have all the faith in the world that zads is going to turn out, at the very least he's going to be a solid number 3 guy. I'm really interested in compher though, he's been super impressive this wolverines season, I wouldn't by shocked to see him play the last dozen games with the Avs this season. Grigo is what he is haha he will always be a super talented but egnimatic talent.

We almost lost out team in 2002

We lost a season and almost our league in 2004

We lost the captains of our best team ever in 2007

We sold every recognizable face for 3 years

We fielded the worst team in hockey since 1935 for two straight seasons

I am on could nine with thus team

And I think their back check is even better! Eichel is just tenacious. He surprises guys who think they're safe and Eichel just picks their pockets. The team as a whole too. I've just noticed Eichel more because of his speed and vision.

Ole Stone Hands Legwand has had 4 chances tonight!
