Weber never said he was a top four dman. He never demanded to get paid like one. He has put his body on the line and has given an honest effort every time I have seen him play. It is not his fault our defense is a joke and he is forced to play a role over his head.
Weber is a 6/7 dman who plays hard and has leadership. Instead of mocking him why don't you mock the front office that has created the situation where he is playing a second pairing role.

To me Weber is playing the role of Suckera when he had that tag. Now on another team he seems to be playing like we expected. Weber and leadership I agree. Most likely the reason he hasn't been moved.

Edit: Every untimely penalty he incurs I will swear to the sky towards the Sabres front office.

You've said this a couple times now. The last 2 years have been laughable but right now we are doing very well in limiting shots and scoring chances, very well in getting pucks out of our zone, and goals against is improved. Teams aren't dominating zone time (opponents are not getting off multiple line changes while our team is stuck flailing away in our end) like before. I see some very positive things and it stems from better play by the D men and way better backchecking from the forwards. Pysyk ands McCabe are our most solid pair lately.

Bashing Weber is easy but it will be a better day for the team when he is #7 or mentoring the guys in Rochester.
