Credit where credit is due...Lindback played his ass off while he was here...for a team that was garbage (and he didn't do too bad)......i'd rather he was our #2 than Johnson

I think unless they got a world class goalie they were always going to be in this position. It's a growth year for them, this off season is probably make or break for cup window #1.

If they can somehow luck into a top 3 pick for the 2016 draft, their ascent will be kicked into higher gear.

If not, it will take a little longer with another pick like Guhle needing to surprise.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a pick. If they're picking say 6th they can use that as an asset to fill one of the holes on the team.

he needs to play, IMO with moulson and reinhart right now, then reinhart can be the set up and eichel and moulson can finish

moulson is too slow for him and reinhart is a playmaker so that won't help

Could trade it for an nhl d-man. Everyone outside the top 3 is likely at least a year or two away from top 4/top 6 level.

I'd throw it to the bolts for hedman, then give hedman the bank

Ekman-Larsson works as well

Can't see those names getting moved but you never know. There will be someone available though, there usually is.

Half the time he is trying too hard...the other half he is skating around like a Vanek clone (lazy and useless)

Idk wat he needs but if he figures it out he should pass it on to Lioneater

call up Kaleta
- homiedclown

Was thinking the same thing. He would bring some energy and instantly improve our penalty kill. But then who sits. Legwand and Larason are at the bottom of the totem pole. But they are both centers and we need another bottom six center, unless the move Foligno to center which has been done before. So bottom wingers would be McBain and Deslaurier sand Foligno. Tough to sit one of them for Kaletta, but I still agree. Bring up Kaletta and practice the PK a lot more.

Also, Reinhart has the highest plus minus and is tied for third or fourth on the team in points. Yet he is only averaging 12:51 toi. This needs to increase ASAP. He and Girgensons are getting less ice time than Gionta. We should be conserving Gionta and playing him less and playing Reinhart a lot more. Same for Pysyk, his minutes should go up a lot.

Also wouldn't be a bad idea to start rolling four lines and taking some pressure of the top lines. The average time on ice between to top and bottom lines is pretty large. When things aren't going well a player can get burnt out fast grinding out big minutes. We have good third and fourth lines, we should get them more minutes to take some pressure off the top lines and have more energy when they are out there later in games.
