I've never had any success selling mine for the TO games. Too many people trying to do the same thing these days. I avoid going though because it would be my luck I'd have one of their fans right near me and that probably wouldn't turn out well for me in some way.

Well with us having Jack now I would love to throw it in their face if I sit next to one

I've had about a 50% fight or have beer with ratio over the years. Best thing is by the third period they leave so I can put my coat on their seat.

I don't like those odds. I'm too feisty to risk it.

I WILL NOT have one of them treat me like I'm the visitor in my own building. Not gonna happen. I respect the fans of other teams that come into our Arena, and I'm very respectful of the fans when I travel to an out of town game. I have 0 tolerance for people acting like it's their home ice when it's clearly not.

This Bogo injury confuses me. The sabres have kept this on the down low (lower body injury). Its been about a month now so i'd assume it's rather serious why would they just say what it is?
- yen6d1

from a jets fan, Bogo is always hurt and seems to be out weeks to months while the whole time he says its minor and he's day to day, get used to it.

also, did Kane miss a practice for other poop to do? is that story true?

Columbus blue jackets in major trouble because they have scored a measly 13 goals in six games. But for the Sabres, scoring 9 goals in 5 games is one of the positives this season. According to the bloggers on this site.

I am sure glad we overpayed to bring in these "game changers" who can't finish or score goals or actually change the results of any games.

Once again we bring in supporting players from other teams, expect them to play primary roles on this team, and then scratch our heads wondering why their production plummets. Same thing over and over, expecting different results.

LOL.

"Kane's a bust" gem from Damo Cox.

Not sure what i found more amusing- the article or the comments.

its CRAZY what a bad rap this kid gets nationally.

I for one have been more than pleased with his play and his off ice attitude.

O'Reilly wasn't even one of the three best centers on colorado and was moved to wing when they had stasny, mckinnon and duschene. Yes, that is a supporting player.

You're comparing apples to oranges here. CBJ was supposed to be a contender this year. The Sabres were merely supposed to begin the climb out of the basement. Columbus's former Vezina winning goaltender has looked like he doesn't even belong in the NHL right now. If you've watched any of their games (other than the one against Buffalo) you would see that they're a MESS right now.

The Sabres, while having some issues here and there at times throughout the games, have looked much more organized overall. Stats don't tell the whole story. Don't be one of those guys that assumes how games went based just off of stats because that's just foolish.

Also, most of the Columbus roster is in tact from last year and they added Brandon Saad to an already very potent offense. The Sabres have a ton of new faces on the roster and a new coach. It takes time for guys to adjust to one another.

Hiller has less than spectacular stats as well. I know. I have both of them on my dynasty team at the moment.

Tells me the team is front is just as much, if not more, to blame.

He's earned that reputation.

Don't get me wrong. I like the strides he has taken to try and shred it, but it hasn't been anywhere near long enough where "just you wait" isn't warranted.

He also does have to start producing. Cox is right, which is a rarity. He's been good, but Tyler Myers has been far and away the best player in this trade so far and it isn't even close (Key word, here, being "so far").

Pass now I wanted him before but he looks like total trash now he's going to be a hundred times worse with our defense

The problem is you're comparing half a season + playoffs + start of this season's body of work with myers to 5 games of kane. One plays on a playoff team, the other on a "turning the corner" team.

Cox conveniently ignores how bad Armia and Lemieux have been as well.

Here's my issue with your opinions on things in general these days.

You make snap judgments based on small portions of information. You never really look at the whole picture. Calgary as a whole hasn't been playing well. They're missing one of their top Dmen, and have been since before the season started. I think that probably has something to do with it.

If he's free to get at this point, I'd take it. What's the worst that happens? He's still bad? Fine. Waive him again. Whatever. No harm no foul, IMO

Makes perfect sense - $2.75m this year (prorated) and we have no cap issues. UFA next year. He was CGY's #1 option coming into the year, is only 29, and had good numbers in 2013 and 2014. No reason why not to take a flyer on him.

6'2" also which isn't huge but is big enough

They have played 7 games, alternating starts. Neither goalie has had time to get into a rhythm. Plus Hiller has been awful too, something is up in Calgary.

Plus it if free, Why not do it?

I agree. I should have been clearer. Cox was right about the part where Kane needs to start putting up numbers eventually.
