I'm down (shocker...) 129-148

My opponent has 7 Rangers to my 3 (2 are the same), so I'm hoping they struggle offensively the rest of the week.

Johnson played well last night...glad he had his poop together during 3 on 3...cuz the rest of the team (with the exception of Georges) looked lost

I think the d-men were ok (though Ristolainen looked iffy), and I was shocked Franson wasn't a pylon during the 3-on-3.

They really need to limit the d-men to Pysyk, McCabe and either Gorges or Ristolainen, I fear what will happen over time with Franson out there, and obviously Weber has no place out there.

Yup...Franson/Weber line looked AWFUL the entire night. And Franson looked like someone filled his skates with lead on the powerplay

also Ennis with the Vanek slapper (That dude needs to relax...he's trying so hard to score that he's making mental mistakes)

It sucks because I think Franson is an excellent passer, something this team has been lacking immensely.

I thought McCabe looked really good on the 3 on 3 last night. Most of the guys though just didn't seem to know what to do. It was like they were so afraid they'd make a mistake that they just sat back and when they did move the puck up the ice they did it so slow it wasn't effective at all.

So, here's an interesting tidbit I just noticed.

I was looking at the standings just to see how some of the other teams are doing overall and while doing so I was also looking at the goal differentials of the teams.

Boston has scored 22 goals, but allowed 26. Buffalo has scored 11 and allowed 15. Both of teams have played 6 games. So Boston has a top notch goalie and we have a career backup currently playing every game. Most people around here also said that our defense needed some serious work as well.

While I still think the defense could be improved, I'm pretty impressed with what they've been able to do so far. Boston is in for a world of hurt soon I think. That team has pretty much imploded.
