honest assessment';
hows jack looked? should I keep him on my fantasy team?
2 goals and 10+ shots isn't horrible, but theres some better options out there right now.

ive seen the highlights and a few minutes here and there on gamecenter when im bored, but seriously, has been super impactful? do we think his numbers will improve?

He will be fine once he gets consistent linemates and gathers some chemistry. Due time will serve him well. Keep him.

No, what you see is what you get after his first 5 games.

Seriously, there will be weeks where he does really well, others he doesn't. We're encouraged that he's highly engaged, even if it doesn't show up on the scoresheet. I don't have him on my HBSL roster, for what that's worth.

Is Rasmus the clear cut #1 D on this team? I'd like to hear more about him. He's been leading the team in TOI, but he's quite under-reported on.

Yeah, he'll be first pairing, and until Bogo comes back will likely lead in ice time. He's very steady, has some spectacular moments, and is still very, very young.

Won't show up on fantasy points, but his physical capability has really expanded this year, IMO.

So ZB is expected to lead the team in TOI upon returning to the lineup?
I thought RR had some offensive upside.

yeah, as my 4th center I don't need jaw dropping numbers, just curious if he looks like hes getting more comfortable or struggling a lot like so many rookies do

He definitely doesn't look out of place in the NHL. I believe the points will come. If you have him as your 4C I'd hang onto him.

Why the (frank) that piece of garbage McGinn is on the 2nd line is beyond me

What do you guys think of these lines

Kane-ROR-Ennis
Moulson-Eichel-Reinhart
McGinn-Girgs-Gionta
DeLow-Larsson-Foligno

Just to change it up a bit. I'd like Girgs in the top 6 but he seems to prefer C. Although Kane and Eichel have developed some nice chemistry, they seem to struggle with their finish. Putting Kane with ROR and they'll bring the forecheck hard and drive the opposing D crazy. I like that. Knowing Bylsma he'll change the lines constantly, gotta find the right combinations.

And for all the criticism on Bylsma juggling lines, the great Scotty Bowman did it all the time. He believed it kept players fresh and prepared shift after shift. As a coach he was a genius at mixing lines all of the time. Frankly I think Bylsma's coaching has been fine. They're a better 5 on 5 team and seem to be a bit better defensively, sans Weber. They were the better team in TB and their work in the corners and the half wall is so much better than last year. I think after the 25th game or so we'll have the lines figured out. The bottom 6 is really strong and the compete level is good. It ain't perfect but they'll get there.

If i remember Correctly, these were the exact lines in the preseason before gionta went down with the lower-body.
