sammy fell while ball was in the air

just standing there, wide open and falls

nice try though

- homiedclown

He didn't just fall. He had to adjust to a poorly thrown ball. Still, you're right. Most players wouldn't get hurt. It's a shame. Once they started throwing to him, Cincinnati didn't seem to have an answer for him. Btw, the Bills have had 24 regular season games since Watkins was drafted. He's only missed 2 of them.

Yeah, I'm not an EJ guy, but trying to place any blame for the Watkins' injury on the throw is ridiculous. Throw was just okay, but, you'd think a player could run around freely and not injure himself??

Yeah he fell when the ball was in the air when he had to change his position. He was headed to the right the ball was thrown to the left...

45 second mark

Nice try though

At least he still caught it.

serious question

of the 22 games the bills have played since sammy came on board, how many did he finish?

so you know the route he was suppose to run?

I am not an EJ fan, but given the reps, he is not that bad

where would he rank on list of backup qb?s

my guess is top 5

That's a good question.

I know he gets banged up a lot so you have a valid point.

He's a fine backup. He just isn't a starter. I thought I would see more progress. His accuracy was pin point on the tough throws in preseason. It was awful when it counted

The route was already run it was a scramble.

As far as current backups that's a hard question since most the good QB's play all the time.

Who knows how good Jimmy G is? Or whomever is A-Rod's back up (I hate that nickname for him).

The Bengals are exactly what the Bills are trying to be.

Andy Dalton didn't shred us like people want to say. Their skill players made skilled plays.

Jones made 2 great plays, Hill made a great play on the TD. Their back up tight end made a great catch on 3rd down.

The Bills when healthy are built to do the same

It's understandable to be upset at trading away two firsts to get Watkins, but does anyone really believe that Odell Beckham would have the same impact as he did in NY with the Bills' quarterbacks throwing to him? Eli Manning, while maybe not in the elite category, is far better than anything the Bills have had in the past decade.

http://bills.buffalonews....n-pin-loss-on-3-4-scheme/

I soured on Rex Ryan quite a bit yesterday, but if this is true, it needs to change ASAP. The notion of paying that much money to your defensive line to make it so that other players can make plays in the pass rush is utterly asinine.

it seems like the other team always gets 5-7 on their first down run when we are down 2 scores

I refuse to believe that the 3-4 is completely predicated on your defensive line not being aggressive though.
