Wow you're starting to sound like a teenage girl now with how incredibly defensive you are. I never said all! For the 100th time! I also said there are classless fans in Pittsburgh. But not enough to make a chant about rape loud enough to be heard on tv.
- Zac_O

So, because a percentage of fans did a chant (which i don't approve of, for the record) we're classless fans. Got it. Sorry to be defensive when you say "Flyers fan are classy." WIll never happen again.

Never seen that chant occur in other fanbases... also never seen another sport franchise throw snowballs and beer cans at a Santa in football...

How about this, Philly has the worst of the bad fans, in their fan base? That fair enough and not grouping them all?

And no, the blissfully hopeful Raider fans don't count, they are just sad.

To be fair Philly stole the chant form the Isles, sooooo it comes of as more lame than offensive.

I've put rubbing alcohol on inner thigh chafe, at Disney world; don't tell me about pain, hahaha

I just find something fishy about how HCMJ was talking about Beau's "injury"

During our Disney trip in the 8th grade a few of my dumb ass friends decided to wear jeans to splash mountain. One thing lead to another and they chafed, so my PE coach tells them to rub their chafeage with Lemmon juice and baby wipes. Hilarity ensued.

Worst of the bad? I can probably go with that. But again, those were not Flyers fan who cheered Irvin hurt, threw batteries at JD Drew, threw snowballs at Santa, etc. Also, that chant has never occurred because, aside from Billy Tibbets (who we booed at home games, by the way), no player has had a highly-publicized rape case like Kane, and he's only played 4 games since.

So is Scuderi benched yet and Clendening up?

See Bennett might be hurt, already... pity, he looked good again this year when healthy.

And apparently we aren't the only high expectation team to be sucking copious amounts of Richard to start the season... maybe relax until 10 games in?

- Guile

No, Johnston remains brain dead. Lineup mistakes persist.

The problem with waiting 10 games is that it is very difficult to catch up. Fortunately for the Pens, outside of the Rags a lot of other teams in the Metro have disappointed this year too.

I want to burn the Spectrum to the ground, but all teams have giant Dbag fans, like the turds that booed Scuds opening night, I've never hated Pens fans more in my life. I have never seen a more classless act directed towards your own team than what we displayed towards Scuds during that ceremony. It made me want to root for a different team.

Pens fans are not good fans

I don't think you'd be able to burn the Spectrum to the ground.

Make sure to do the same at a Rangers and Islanders game and give us those reports as well.

I'll wear my Ray Lewis jersey (that I don't have) to a game at Heinz Field and let you know how that goes over.

Did anyone see Beau's post game interview?

Something fishy is going on.

He maybe "hurt", but he sure didn't seem like it in his interview.

He was confident and excited, practically giddy.

Hurt in practice maybe, but HCMJ said he was hurt during the game.

Some strange goings on here

What are you suggesting? A trade? 1 1/2 good games isn't gonna land us d help. I really hope he's not hurt bad. He was having a good set of games. And I really don't think it's anything bad. He really did seem fine.

I'm not saying its fair that all fans of the flyer get lumped with the bad ones. What I'm saying is the number of bad ones is so large that it is noticeable. It doesn't help that its a large market. I'd consider you along with most flyers fans on here as fans who are not classless. But there are definitely many classless jerks that are louder than the good guys. Even if its less than 15% they are loud enough to make the flyer fan base get the reputation.

Like last year... We did agree that we don't have to win the Metro... keep players healthy, know what works, and make the postseason is fine. Sadly last year, even having our star players playing a bit less time on ice when healthy, poop still happened.

i actually feel like the rangers would be worse.

like i said, i think fan representation is more connected to the quality of people that they are, regardless of fan affiliation.

if youre a decent person, wearing a giroux shirt isnt going to turn you into a bloodlusting (frank)tard.

however, if youre a douchebag before hand, sports games provides a perfect setting to display it.

it's a lame narrative, it's a shame so many buy into it. I'm surprised we haven't linked Philly fans to the shooting at the Dallas game, or the trash throwing at the SkyDome yet.

i realize this is a large variable to be wrenching in there, but if you could somehow eliminate alcohol from the equation, you would eliminate virtually all of the issues from eagles games/parking lot related activities.

It seems that the Penguins didn't even go after Mike Babcock because they thought they already had a new coach. It would have been bad press. If they wait until Cload is fired and hire him after that I think I'll throw up.

I've been to a few games there, and they're just...non combative at all. They just like to sit with the other 3 Devils fans and quietly watch a game.

I actually met one working a concession stand at Carolina (wtf, right) and we just had an enjoyable hockey discussion.
