I really want them to put him with Letang to see if that gets him going. Those two looked dominant the game they played together in preseason. He needs an injection of mojo and I don't think that Letang and Cole compliment each other well to begin with.

It would be best to be able to spread the wealth with your top-2 D (i.e. Keith and Seabrook) but, if Maata isn't working solo, I agree that putting him with Letang might be best, at least short-term.

We haven't looked to good so far. If we play up to our ability you guys are in trouble without hot Craig Anderson on board, but if we play like we have been it'll be a pitcher's duel between MAF and the Hamburgler.
- Victoro311

While never strong, the Sens D can also be much better than they have. However, I wouldn't expect that just yet.

I think it will be up to the Pens to outscore the Sens, which is certainly possible.

How Hammond plays is anyones guess. I wouldn't expect the play of last seasons run though.

Of course he is. Probably broke his foot walking to his car after the Habs game.

In his defense, there were a few hairline cracks in the parking lot that may have impeded his navigation.

It's interesting to see the teams that are struggling out of the gate.

LA is 0-3
Columbus is 0-4
Anaheim is 0-2-1, and only has scored 1 goal in 3 games.

People need to be patient. It's only 3 games into the season. This team will find it's stride offensively.

A team that goes 0-82 has to be 0-3 at some point in the season

It's Bennett. He's expected to get injured. It especially hurts because he was one of the few forwards showing any effort.

Pens will win tonight but who cares? Hockey is a shell of the Great game it once was. The game lacks the edge of the seat intensity it had, Open Ice hits are rare, Goalies are bigger than the net, Interference is accepted, Penalties are ignored, Most of the shots are from the blue line!!! Love this new game where mediocrity replaced physicality!!! Go Pens!!!

Hope it's just a minor injury. He was doing great, looked like a whole new player.

First off, I was there, and the majority of fans were NOT chanting this.

Secondly, if you think Philly is the only building where he's gonna get that, you're sadly mistaken. But, Eagles fans threw snowballs at Santa 40 years ago=Flyers fans have no class. Carry on.

- jmatchett383

Well if the majority weren't doing it they should have told the other to shut up. From what i hear it was loud enough to hear on tv. Thats a lot of people to get that loud.

I hope that's the only place NHL fans make light of rape. And the reasons philly fans get labeled as classless are nearly endless. I don't hate phillies fans, I hate that they always seem to be doing something classless. But hey it just because they are "passionate". You know like the uni-bomber was.

Well I apologize for not telling each individual member of what seemed like 15-20% of the crowd to please stop...because, you know, that's possible.

Please tell me what "classless" things Flyers (not Philadelphia sports) fans have done, and I guarantee I can come up with just as many examples from other franchises. Whether it be Rangers fans telling Hextall to buy a Porsche or telling Thrashers players to take a ride with Dan Snyder (you know, things where people acually died) to Penguins fans making their "Bomb Boston" tweets after the Boston Marathon bombing and giving Jagr the middle finger...dude, EVERY FAN BASE HAS bumholeS IN IT.

Now, if you want to talk Eagles fans...yeah, they're Richards.

I don't like the PC social nonsense, but even I think that's classless and wouldn't want Pens fans doing it.

I hate PC very much. But to chant that at an innocent man is classless all day long. I say innocent because he has not been found guilty.

theres a difference between not guilty and innocent.

Theres a huge difference from being mad someone screwed your team by leaving them and chanting about rape. If you want to use Facebook and twitter as an account for classless fans I could go all day pointing out flyers fans calling for sid to die. At an actual game you need to act different than you do on social media.

You want other examples? Cheering whenever an opponent is hurt is a classic that seems to happen every single time I watch a flyers game. I saw the pens do it once and the other fans started booing those fans. I'm sorry but the flyers have made a name for themselves as classless.

Don't use rangers as your point. Don't they have the highest amount of fan fights at games?

It's nothing more than an accusation. You're no more guilty of stealing my car than he is of rape at this point. You were never proven innocent for that either.
