if letang goes down, i think the team might actually be able to hang in there defensively, relatively speaking.

The injuries are Stopping right here with Duper, BB, and Fehr. These guys are going to get better, and there are not going to be any more injuries any time soon.

I still say Dumo looked better than Pouliot overall last year... he however, plateaued last year, and Pouliot had the hype and looked like a HUGE ceiling.

HCMJ said in an interview after the game that Scuds and Plotnikov were healthy and it was just a lineup change. I'm not sure if that means one game or maybe MJ will stick with the lineup since they won.

I say if Sid and Phil don't score in the first period of the next game together with Kunitz, then put in Sprong with them. I believe Phil will have extra motivation since they will be playing back in Toronto.

Possibly this was given Farnham/Rust another NHL chance in leu of Plot... I feel like Plot showed he can play bottom 6 well.

I thought Clendening looked good, good poise, patient a few mistakes sure but he is essentially a rookie in his first game of the year. I'd like to see him stay in the line up over Scuderi, anyone else feel this way?

Im pretty happy with the overall performance tonight except for one thing, WAY to many blind passes in our defensive zone to the front of the net, Id like that cleaned up.

Did anyone see the former #16 get absolutely destroyed the other night, it brought a tear to my eye.

Looking at what MJ said in the presser, I'd say he may even be back next game. There was no encouraging words about Dingers play only the the needed to play - (frank) that! If MJ was hot for Dinger to play more I think he would have thrown a 'I thought Dinger was strong tonite, tight in D & held the puck well & made some good passes', but no, nothing! Zero. Duck egg.
