He probably just went straight from Toronto to Montreal. It's the same distance as going from NY to Montreal (approx). And the food's better in MTL. Everything is better in MTL than TO, actually.

Still bothers me Richter's career was ended from a puck off the mask, and Hank does it on purpose. I'm sure the masks are made better now, but damn I wish he would stop (frank)ing doing it.

Then early in the next season he had the player on Edmonton run into him & that was the end. He didn't announce retirement until right before the start of the 03-04 yr.
