Most teams that don't bust their tails lose in the NHL. Teams that work hard often beat teams that don't. - MidnightMarauder
In general that's true. But some teams can still pull out a win with sheer talent from time to time. Habs don't have enough of those guys to do it. They have three elite players, one at each position. That's not enough to be lazy with at any time. |

I am just wondering, if we are going to crown Duclair after a hot start, do we get to crown Oscar Lindberg as well. You know the guy that Sather got for Ethan Werek. Just curious. Can we do that?
And, I am still a believer that a trade can work out for both teams involved in the trade. Duclair is a very good prospect, but Yandle isn't some scrub. I also think it is worth mentioning the buying power that the Rangers achieved for drafting well (as Duclair was a 3rd round pick). If you don't draft well, you have less assets. If you have less assets, it's hard to pull off trades of the likes of the Yandle trade to make yourself better. - Pete V
I already did. Hayes is getting pushed to the back of the line. |

The Garden post 1994 to me has just never been the same, but its gotten worse since the major renovations a few yrs back, WAY too many suits who are just there to drink & talk business w their other suit friends. - B2B76
I agree 100%. These last renovations took something away. |

A lot of opposing teams fans come in now, 25-30 yrs ago you almost never saw an away jersey at MSG, Ranger fans were brutal to outsiders. |

Then again, while the Bell Center is a great place, it can't compare in any way to the old Forum. |

Yea it is funny, Letang plays half a season, so Pittsburgh would have to sweeten the deal. |

I bet. I always wear mine. But I'm usually with my 8 year old, so they don't bother us much. Also depends on the score. |

Rangers are the third or fourth priciest ticket to see live in North American professional sports.
Crowd sucks now because most of the die hards have been priced out. |

I think Letang is better to be clear. It goes Karlsson, Subban, Letang in terms of the top tier of offensive defensemen. But Yandle is next in line. |

Don't give him credit, only I was the one to acknowledge his buffoonery. |

I still have a VHS tape of the 1992 all star game at the Forum, from ESPN, Thorne & Clement on the call...the skills compition I should say, great times. That game ended up being 16-6 or something w Mike Gartner scoring 4 goals & getting MVP. |

91 dollars to sit in the level right below the upper deck during the regular season.
My friend still renews his season tickets even though it is depleting his bank account something awful. |

Until the big games come, he handles the puck like a hand grenade because of the pressure, gets beat like a red headed step child, and loses his ice time like he did to Niskanen a couple of years back.

This is also true
He has a lot of Mike Green in him when the playoffs come around. Green disappears after he's hit a few times. |
