Kane is infinitely better than Duclair at this point. Too much unknown with him as of now. - MidnightMarauder
Of course. Kane is a 3x Stanley Cup winner, Conn Smythe winner, and probably a top 5 player in the league.
Just saying Duclair reminds me of Kane in terms of how they approach the game. Both very slick skaters and try to beat players 1 on 1 with stick handling. |

As a Habs fan, you know all about that jealousy angle. How many times have Leafs & Bruins fans, for example, tried to sh!t all over Montreal's accomplishments? - MidnightMarauder
I feel bad for Montreal fans. All summer they dealt with "Montreal...err I mean Team Price will regress this year cuz hurr durr no talent". They start 4-0 and still receive no respect. |

Don't think anyone can come close to Kane's puck skill aside from Datsyuk. Kane's a magician. |

Well, I am 46, and I grew up in Montreal, left in 1993 (which is why they haven't won another Cup, btw). So a rite of Spring, was beating the Bruins. I get why they hate the Habs. As for the Leafs, it's simple. I was born in 1969, and in my lifetime, I have never seen them play for the Cup, let alone win one. Pure jealousy, again, despite the lack of recent success. |

Tonight is going to be tough and not just because of Price. They are a well coached team that skates well and scores enough to win more times than not. Pacioretty looks like he is ready to take his game to another level now that he is captain. |

Kane is a special player.
Another player that had similar play styles as Kane does was Hemsky. And we all know how that worked out for him.
I think Duclair falls somewhere between a Hemsky and Kane. We'll see. |

We know that line all to well, those same people also come back and say Hank is over rated, I can never tell which they believe more |

The Rangers will win. In a blowout. There'll be fire and torches and perhaps dinosaurs in the pre-game. Wouldn't surprise me if Beliveau's coffin is wheeled out. And then there'll be a huge letdown and that will be that. |

Yep, despite not winning a title since 1993 Montreal, as of late, is a consistent playoff team that has one of the best players in the league in Price. Maybe not a single more dominant player, at his position, than he. As much as I love Hank, and think Hank ithe second best goalie in the league, Price is that much better at this point. |

It was a process. Hank was the best for several years, and Price was good, but not great. He's on another planet now, and truth be told, Hank is getting older. It's normal. But Hank is still an unbelievable goalie. |

I hope Duclair becomes a great player. I have no time for hate, especially for a professional athlete. I am holding off on singing his praises though, at least at this level, because it is way too early to label him anything but a player with a lot of potential. |

No blowout either way tonight. Think it's low scoring regardless of the winner. |

Hank is solidly in second but, as you stated, Price is just on another level than any other goaltender in the world right now. |

Habs suck at home openers. It just works that way. Hope it's a good game. I had to watch the Pens/Habs game without sound the other night. I couldn't put myself through a night of complaining by those clowns. |

They have a number of things in common, but the thing that stands out most for me, is how calm they both are, at ALL times. |

Penguin broadcast team is truly the bottom of the barrel. Errey and Steigerwald sound like two Penguin fans watching from a dive bar . |

Yep. Won first four on the road. First time it's ever happened. Not the stiffest competition mind you, but still a nice start. |
