Yep, I was just thinking the same thing.

If anything it may have been the normal process of gathering information for down the road.

Too early in the season for anything along the lines of a blockbuster trade.

Why the (frank) would the jets who are a few years ahead of the flyers in terms of development give up their best future dman.
- flyer_nutter

They wouldn't. It's just a hypothetical like everything else we've been saying. And it doesn't have to be the Jets it could be anyone. At some point the Flyers will trade a top tier prospect for a young impact nhl player. This board doesn't seem to accept that and everyone wants wait and see.

I don't think they would, unless they were blown away. That's what I can't figure out. Where's the fit between the Jets and the Flyers?
- MJL

Well.. for the people thinking it was Chicago my thought process would be they'd be at the Caps game tonight than ? Since they are in the area and if they wanted a true measure I think youd want more than 1 look. Especially if it is bickell, when the blackhawks went down they cycled out their bottom 6 to limited minutes

With three more assists tonight, 67's Travis Konecny has 1G 9A. Sniper has turned into a high-end playmaker #Flyers

This color guy for the Caps is brutal. "Panarin. The Bread man. ... I call him that because of Panara Bread! ...The bread place."

That was followed by 10 seconds of silence in the booth.

- hereticpride

I was thinking more like Panarin. The view man. As in he has great vision...almost a panoramic view

I think that is a little overboard. That's stating it as if it is a fact, or that it is inevitable. I think most are open to the possibility. Some are coming from the viewpoint that Hextall is going to stick with his prospects, and there is plenty of information to suggest that is a reasonable position.

It takes two to tango.

Why do they get a long layoff followed by a back to back?

I remember watching him a couple of times when i was following the London Knights because of Stolarz. They had Domi, Bo Horvat, and Mitch Marner all together on that team

He actually looked pretty good if we're being honest and not factoring his contract in.

Big net front body on the PP, can play PK, etc. I was hoping he could play his way into a trade.

Yeah I agree on both accounts. Won't know how it went truly for another 10 years. I wasn't thrilled by the Morin pick. He's grown on me but not that much

Logan Couture. What a goddamn disaster of a fantasy pick.

Zero points while the Sharks are fire. Breaks ankle in practice.

Watching and rooting for a team with less talent work hard for 60 minutes is a lot of fun. Very enjoyable, could easily get used to this. Goalies stealing games. No OT or shootouts. Love it.

Wtf with the 6 day break though.
