Weird. I read that in the voice of this scene replete with music score...

And you remember something from one without 'Star Wars' in the title. Yowza.

Dude. Take a couple hours out of your day and rent it or whatever. It's my anytime go-to. Dennis Farina and Joey Pants are awesome in it. Yaphet Kotto and John Ashton, too.

out. now.

i actually just watched the original trilogy a couple of weekends ago for the first time in ages.

then a strange thought occurred to me when it was over: where do they go to the bathroom? i imagined luke taking a dump. there have to be bathrooms on the death star, right? what kind of toilet paper does it have?

that's actually what those big bottomless pits were for. Kind of puts the emperor's demise in perspective.

As for wiping, they probably have ass lasers or the force or something.

I lean that direction, as well -- it's the salary cap era, yes, and asset management is always a crucial aspect of operation.

But at the same time, at some point, a franchise reaches that junction of having enough youth and organizational depth/picks combined with future salary obligations of pending free agents.

In a salary cap era, sometimes, you just can't keep everyone, and the NHL roster is better served by having veterans help you win, play out their contracts, and then depart, freeing up their salary slot and roster position.

The Jets are a better team right now with Byfuglien than without. They have Myers and Trouba who continue to develop.

At some point, Byfuglien has to get cut loose. And as Bill Walsh so correctly noted, sometimes a year too soon is better than a year too late.

Their payroll overall is pretty balanced, tho, and they have a massive wave of HQ kids coming in on ELC's that will provide tremendous value for dollar, and probably allow them to part with some higher-priced vets.

If I were Chevy, I'd keep Buff if I can get him to sign for under 4-years. He's too unique to replace. There's other places they could belt-tighten if their internal budget starts to strain.

Of course he can.

The ice even apologizes to him for being slippery.

it's a ridiculous yet serious question. tp seems archaic for that universe..so what do they do? what about yoda? granted, his planet was a (frank)ing disgusting mud bog, so he probably just crapped on the ground...but he had to wipe his ass, right? i think there might be some things where the force isn't applicable.

True story: bathrooms are actually part in the blueprints. One of the doors on the bridge in next generation they never visibly use is a bathroom.

Buff would be crazy to sign for 4 years when Seabrook just got 8. They're the same age.
