Gotta to disagree with you here. White was one of the few guys that actually seemed to give a damn on Saturday while Vinny looked like a completely shot player during most of last season and in the preseason. - BiggE
Saturday had nothing to do with Vinny. All I'm saying is Luke didn't deserve to sit yesterday but he did. You give Vinny a chance to play after a blow out, if he fails his first go, he has no excuse.

I think we've already passed the "if he fails, he has no excuse" phase with Vinny several times over.

Seems like Hakstal felt that the team had a better chance of winning with Gudas instead of Schenn and Gagner (and the other forwards) instead of Lecavalier. I don't think he was using it as a "prove it" type of thing. He iced the team that he felt had the best chance to win, and that didn't include either Lecavalier or Schenn.

I just don't know that Vinny can keep up anymore. I like our 4th line for the most part right now. They can skate and have energy. I think Vinny is a step back at this point. I get what you are saying about giving that fresh start/second chance, but I'm not going to be upset if he rides out the year in the press box. - funmaster18
This is the thing. The Coach cannot claim he's unbiased if you put the guy in, when the team proved two nights in a row that they aren't any good. Now keep in mind, I'm speaking from the perspective prior to last night's game.

He can't skate well enough to play on this team. The team getting blown out because Mason was off his game for the first six minutes on Saturday doesn't change that.
That's a really good article about G and V's 5v5 scoring. It goes really in depth with scoring chances and the like. - TobyFlenderson
Did they include that their line however has 4 even strengths among those 2 since January but 9 for raffl and 4 for misc players we added to their line during that time. So the collective top line has 17 Even strength goals in 35 games. Not elite but not awful either. But it would be good news to ssee G and jake find the net
Ever hear of the little angel known as Taylor Swift? - aightwebang17
I can't believe we're actually going to discuss this on this board, but she's the first one I thought of, too. Madonna is/was great but TS is right there with her.
