It sucks how you get over wins withing 10 mins but losses stick with you until the next game lol

I'm not so much upset at the loss, more about the PP. How many times will they do the same thing over & over with the same players in the same spot and expect different results.

It would be like walking into work everyday and as soon as you open the door your boss kicks you square in the nuts. Now most people after 4-5 times would try to find a different entrance into work. Apparently Arniel likes getting kicked in the nuts.

Until they get some players who actually think shoot first, I don't see it changing lol

I think they just have to mix up the forwards. The point is what it is, and other than Yandle no one is going to blast it from the point. Plus they really need to move more on the PP. The only person ever tired on the PK for the other team is the one forward who has to keep skating back and forth between the passes on the point. haha

Hutchinson was insane last night, but the special teams were obviously disturbing.

They have to get Fast back in the lineup for the penalty kill, this is just nonsense.

You can't trade Hagelin and not dress Fast and expect the penalty kill to go unscathed.

I think Fast and Dan Boyle will go back in for Glass and McIlrath on thursday.

- jimbro83

Don't have a problem with McIlrath getting another shot tomorrow night. This insistence on Glass playing, by coach, has to stop. Fast is an effective penalty killer and rounds out the lines completely. Etem can throw his weight around so if Vigneault wants beef, in the lineup, he has another option up front aside from Glass.

Hard to complain when Kreider and Nash have zero goals, through four games, and they are still averaging over three goals per and won three of their first four.

Winnipeg played chippy last night, Rangers responded, but the special teams were an absolute nightmare and that was the obvious difference.

Brassard can do it, and I think he a Klein have the best bombs from the point. They just didn't do it last night.

Yeah tomorrow I'd expect see either Etem or Fast for Glass. Montreal doesn't play same way as Columbus or Winnipeg.

It's just nonsensical to have Glass play when there are two healthy, and clearly better options, sitting in the luxury suite sporting three thousand dollar suits.

I would personally love to have the 1st unit with Yandle & McDonagh on the point. Zucc and Nash down low and Miller in front of the net.

2nd unit, Klein & Hayes on the point and Stepan and Brass down low with Kreider in front.

Now before I get screamed at for Hayes on the point, think about it. The guy is great holding onto the puck and drawing other players to him. So you put him on the point and would leave Klein open for a big shot.

maybe even sit both Glass and Stoll and dress both Fast and Etem

Stoll only played 10 minutes last night and took 3 faceoffs

That works.

20 21 13
10 24 25
19 28 96

Wouldn't mind that all.

Still think Stoll doesn't bring anything more than Moore. I wouldn't mind him getting benched and seeing what Fast Moore Etem could do. Both Moore and Fast are very defensively responsible so Etem could concentrate on using more of his offensive skills.

The beautiful thing about veteran players, such as a Stoll, is that he can get scratched for long periods of time and fill in when needed.

Young players like Etem and Fast need to play so they can build their confidence. Both are talented players and can bring needed elements to the forward group.

Yup, and I feel bad for Fast, had a really great 2nd 1/2 of the year last year playing 3rd line and filling in occasionally on the 2nd line, only to get dropped to the 4th this year.

That speaks to their depth at forward; making it even more mind numbing that Glass still occupies a roster spot.

I think, at year's end, Fast or Etem will be third line regulars while Stalberg will play on the fourth line.

Went to the game yesterday. Pretty poopty time from the moment the jets tied it until the end of the game.

The PP has zero plan. There's nobody with a big shot so they just pass it around the outside and try to get a passing lane for a cross ice pass but it never happens. Kreider was invisible. Miller sucked. Hayes was okay but didn't create anything offensively.

Just felt like they had no energy or flow the entire game.

- rangerdanger94

yes looked that way on T V ...
yes passing is all they like ...no nose for the net ...YET
yes ... kreids took nite offf ...hayes ....over holding puck at times ..should be on top of net more.. is he hurting already?
? Miller ? not sucked ..bergs took nite off ,J T had a chance or 2 ..no T o's for him
hate out of conf games ...seems lack of intensity only from our guys
other team gets up for NYR & Msg games...

Took that big hit in the Columbus game, and the announcers said it looked like he was laboring a little last night.

So Dan Boyle not only back with Marc Staal and #NYR practice, also on top PP unit with Yandle, Nash, Brassrd and Zuccarello.

wont help... the forwards on that line is the problem. not the D.... Nash needs to play side and Brass at point.
