Once they start broadcasting SEL games at 7 PM for the East Coast USA, this will be acceptable.

This is unfortunately true. It's a shame that some of Giroux and Jv's years are being wasted with a franchise that can't make the playoffs. Bad enough to lose prematurely every year. I can't imagine how Flyer fans must feel after having a team that was sooooooo close.

As far as Pens go....I'm willing to see what happens between games 10-20. That should be enough time to gel and the team should be healthy. If they still look like this, which I don't think they will, I'm all about a new coach/system.

In all honesty, with the players surrounding them, Sid and Geno should have career offensive years. As should Phil.

Does anyone get Columbus day off? I don't know anyone that does. Every single game is being played in an American arena so that isn't likely to help attendance.

Yeah, well here in Canada we had our first MLB playoff games in 23 years and the league so graciously scheduled them at 3Pm and Noon on weekdays.... Some things just don't make any sense.

The only people who are working today are in retail and road construction ( winters coming, get that poop done)....and they are cashing in with double time and a half.
