TM addressed Lehner's conditioning on the radio yesterday. He was unable to do ANY kind of physical activity for over 3 months because of the concussion. That is a very long time for any athlete. To expect him to have been in great shape coming into camp is a bit much. Lehner had also said that he knew he wasn't where he needed to be and was working hard to get there and knew he had to improve.

Perhaps he shouldn't have been starting yet then. Just a thought.

This injury has nothing to do with his conditioning, so it doesn't matter. An athlete in top shape would have suffered the same fate. Getting a skate caught in a rut is just a whole lot of bad luck.

Ask Marian Hossa about it from his time in Atlanta.

Was at the game last night with 19069 of my closest friends, and almost cried tears of joy when our boy scored. Never heard the arena that loud.

Both Price and Stroman have been ordinary so far.

Stage too big for them?

- buffalofan19

Price yes, Stroman...maybe but i think that inning is entirely on the D. Bautista's got to make that catch (tough play yes but thats what you expect from your stars) and i can't process what Martin did there on the 2nd run.

Like when it takes Colabello to make a great defensive play to end the inning you've obviously screwed up somewhere bad.

I just don't think I could do an Eichel or Reinhart...

Something weird about me... I'm a big dude... I'm 6'5 and 270 lbs.. so I just feel beyond stupid wearing some little dude's jersey like Eichel or Reinhart. I feel the same way about NFL jerseys... Could never buy a RB or DB's jersey. Nah fam... I rock Eddie Lacy, Clay Matthews, or Mike Daniels only.

if the refs didn't spend 10 (frank)in minutes on that replay i think we take that momentum (disallowed goal or no) and run away with that game

seriously replays need to be limited in their duration...this is not football

Lehner will be further evaluated. They're hoping for an update by tomorrow on his condition. Lehner apologized a lot for getting hurt.

The part about Lehner apologizing for getting hurt made me chuckle a bit. Lol

the fact they got the right call makes the game so much better

the fact it took 6 or 7 minutes is a disgrace

To me, an offside play should be an easy review. It shouldn't take 10 minutes to determine if a play is offside or not. If it's not that clear cut, then it's a good goal.

if you do not like the coaches being able to make a challenge, your probably too young to remember this

He really wants to prove to all the people that are critical of the trade that he's a good player. This doesn't help that cause any at all.

He makes the most sense, only one year left on his deal and Carolina has Eddie Lack. I'd prefer Hiller but with the way Ramo played the other day I'm not sure they'll be so quick to trade Hiller.
