People that don't like the goal song. You are old, white and come from a generation that refused to acknowledge hip hop as a legitimate art form. An art form that is 37 years old. Heck the goal song turns 20 next year.

it's a well known fact that the people in the crowd, the number of african americans in the crowd is at a much lower percentage rate then the national average.

a high % of white american males, do not like hip hop.

IMO it was a poor selection, the sabre dance works just fine

Just an observation: for the last several months, even years, almost every Sabres' blog results in 1,000 + responses. Everything from the preview of every position to GMTM's brand of coffee (Timmy Ho's?) gets at least 700 hits.

Now we are actually playing real games and we don't even have 500? WTF?

Hell yes. Hearing that song during pre-game on tv as a kid meant game on. And instead of Duff and May blathering in between periods, they should show reruns of Howie Meeker's School of Hockey, and Peter Puck.

Not going to argue anyone's taste in music. We'd all likely have different options that 70% of the fan base would hate. But you're way off in thinking that the type of music is an issue. I have thousands of songs on my phone and zero are hip hop. I don't even like that song. But the way it is cut up as a goal song really worked for me. It won't work for everyone (nothing would) but I'd confidently predict the fans will embrace the choice even more as the season goes on.
