I don't know if it has been brought up, but Boudreau is splitting up Perry and Getzalf and putting them on two different lines for scoring depth and matchup issues. Makes even less sense splitting them than two playmakers like G and Jake. Those two also score a crap ton more points at evens together than G and Jake. Makes you think.

I have yet to see Voracek be a dominating player game in and game out, without Giroux. Not saying he can't be and I do believe Voracek to be an elite winger. I just have yet to see him do it on a Getzlaf, Perry or even Giroux level.

We could have made the playoffs last season. We started off slow. We ended the season without urgency. Couturier, Schenn and Read must step up. The rest is cake.

Great. I see it every game Jake dominating at evens as much or more than G. G is the most important player to the team all around, but at evens Jake is second fiddle to no one. I don't know how many times I can say G finished like 160 in the NHL at even strength scoring compared to Jake's 30 something. So I won't bother...oops.

I've never ever seen Voracek dominate year in and year out...because he hasn't. If you wanna take one season and say Voracek is on the same level as Kane or Hossa, that's funny to me.
