Don't get me wrong, I am very excited for tonight and this season, but I don't see us getting 90-100 points. Hopefully its one more season of no playoffs, and we make the push next year. I think the team needs a little age, a top 4 dman, and one more solid draft.

That solid draft pick better be the #1st overall . otherwise could be 3 yrs away from a full time spot.

I just mean another solid draft to keep the system strong, not to impact the roster. However, over the last 3 years, a lot more top 10 draft picks have been making opening night.

John Scott on waivers...

IM back for another season bought Game center. Had some Chrome cast issues last night.

First it wouldn't cast then i would cast and it would play on my phone and on the TV. The phone being 10 seconds or so ahead of the cast. odd.

Anyone else have issues?

I use a Roku. Its actually several years old now and still works well. Internet signal to my apartment can be an issue occasionally, but the hardware and stream from the NHL work well for me. I definitely am a bit behind live play tho.

Geez. That's worse than the offers I've gotten for him in mine. I was at least being offered Stamkos + one other piece. The issue was they wanted both McDavid AND MacKinnon.

I don't get it, I was trade savy ended up making the playoffs last year but traded away MacKinnon to a guy who had the first round pick of the team guaranteed to finish in the bottom 3. It probably cost me a round or two last year but that pick turned into McDavid so I traded MacKinnon for McDavid...

There were other pieces involved as I need a D and he needed a forward but the end of the day I got McDavid for MacKinnon.

I don't get it, I was trade savy ended up making the playoffs last year but traded away MacKinnon to a guy who had the first round pick of the team guaranteed to finish in the bottom 3. It probably cost me a round or two last year but that pick turned into McDavid so I traded MacKinnon for McDavid...

The same guy proposed two trades to me. The first was Stamkos and Lehner. The second was Stamkos and Stone. Both were for McDavid and MacKinnon. After he sent the first request I said he'd have to to a lot better if he wanted to get even one of them. Once he sent the second I said I had 0 plans on trading either one of them.
