Players still "learn" in the NHL, obviously. Systems, strategies, some positioning on particular situations etc...

But if a player isn't a top talent, already good enough and fast enough to play in the NHL, he should "develop" in the minors. Where can work on his game, his physique etc.

That is why I lose it when I hear there is no teaching in the NHL. I really like doozie Bruce but he is wrong on this.

Professionals in any field continue learning constantly.

Sheldon O"queef is gonna teach them the system under no pressure.

Last thing these kids need is to be in Babber's doghouse and be put on blast.

I can't come up with any, unless maybe Boyes or Tlusty... neither of which was a crushing loss.
