If roster and lineup decisions this week work out that three or even all four among MacDonald [5 million cap hit] , Luke Schenn ($3.6 million cap hit, unrestricted free agent after this season), Gagner ($3.2 million cap hit, unrestricted free agent after the season) and Lecavalier ($4.5 million cap hit, contract runs through) are all healthy scratches on opening night, that would a very expensive group of players out of the lineup. However, it would also fit with Hakstol's summertime pledge not to make lineup decisions based on someone's salary or contract term.

i can't wait for the the 2019 season.

Depends on who his center is to some degree, although he has not been especially productive on LW even when playing with Giroux. He seems to have better chemistry offensively with Sean Couturier, for whatever reason, But overall, Schenn has absolutely looked better offensively at RW (albeit in a small sample size late last season and for the majority of this camp) than at LW.

Yeah, being on the center-right-side of the ice unlocks his entire skillset, especially his shot. When he's on the left... he's relegated to mostly grinding and wall-play. A waste of his potential, IMO.

Picking fouth in a keepers league today. I'm mighty tempted to take McDavid but I think he'll be gone to be honest. Gotta assume Ovi is gone too. Between Sid, Stamkos and Seguin who do you take?

Call me crazy, I'm leaning Seguin.
