That would be criminal. I didn't mind what I saw of Legwand in preseason but Sam looks ready. Larsson better be in there as well.

CGY still has 3 goalies - Hiller, Ramo, Ortio - and all require waivers. It's possible (tho not guaranteed) CGY opens with 3 G on roster.

This guy too from LA, Jean-François Bérubé, I really like him. Could be a steal for a RFA goalie that is 24.

I would just waive Johnson and try to continue to think long term (not this year). A tandem of 24 year old goalies could be alright, I mean Lehner is the starter anyway, right?

I understand, but this one could be free with a little cap hit from Johnson (I would guess).

And they both are RFA so you are not overpaying for a goalie.
