I don't mind McGinn, but if Murray does not want to resign and trade away for say late 1st rounder (see Antoine Vermette trade 2015 and stats between the two), it would make the O'Reilly trade more in our favor. Although I am over just getting draft picks, but then using draft picks as currency, I am in on that.

Irbe was still under contract . Everyone really wanted him to stay . He choose to go back to his homeland. His relationship was with Nolan . An unfortunate side effect of the Nolan firing. The only one I can think of.

I was being sarcastic and meant he shoulda just played. I was one who wanted the Sabres to give Dom a shot a couple years ago. Even though I hate Doms guts for the Detroit hostage negotiations - still smarting about not getting Fedorov. I guess I wanted the guy to get a shot at redemption. So he is only 27, averaging around 40 points a season (last couple years), those are not bad numbers, could get a 1st for him. But I just read that he has a reoccurring back injury, so that would be a concern for other teams. If you plays well for the first half of the season, a desperate team may take a chance on him (only a $2.9/year cap hit) where as most players with 40 points in a season have a higher salary or won't be traded.

Getting the feeling that Reinhart will be spending some time in Rochester. Seems like they have been playing him with rochester guys alot in preseason. Not sure how much that means..also dont love him on the wing so maybe hel have a better opourtunity to get playing time at center in roch

He's never even hit 40 points. I think he's a solid player but in order to get a first he'll need to explode this year. The injuries have killed him over the past few years
