I love how people always bash Tim Connolly. But when he wasn't hurt he was pretty damn good for us. Let's compare him to Tyler Ennis shall we? In 416 regular season games Tim Connolly scored 280 points for a .67 points per game average. In 345 games Tyler Ennis has 212 points for a .61 average. Connolly was better in the playoffs too. .64 to Ennis' .615.

I'll totally give you Leino. And Hodgson the last 2 years. And even then Hodgson still managed to put up 20 goals in 13-14.

Connoly was unfortunate. Regier should have a "Leino" neck tattoo for that signing. And i feel like Hodgson for Kassian was, or is, going to end up as a wash. I dont see Kassian having much of a future greater than Hodgson. It was a desperate hockey trade for both teams.

It is what it is, really. We needed to rest our quality guys so they can come out roaring when the games actually count. Im sure the guys who played last night understood that. Either way, its not fun watching us get destroyed.
