I agree about the complaining. Alot of it is silly. I live in Queens. Am thrilled the team is 30 min away. Dont give a fack about the scoreboard or the obstructed views or ice girls or sparky. I was joking that no one is really upset about Hickey being on IR.
Re read my post. You were dead wrong suggesting I was whining about all the stuff mentioned in the article- the jab was that (the author doesnt know) most fans see Hickey going down as an opportunity for Pulock to play but you feel the need to give commentary on the people who post here like ur king sh!t johnny know it all. Its real easy to run your mouth "behind the fence" and security of the internet but like I said it's old and tired and I am not insulted, intimidated or impressed. So if what you wrote is true and you'll never reply to a post of mine again then, I guess mission accomplished. Same goes for your cheerleaders. Its real sweet the way you stand up for each other and compliment each others posts. Grow up guys.

meh, I've had my good and bad days on here, and been ripped appropriately when it's deserved. Take everything as it is in the moment and the next day almost everything is forgotten and we move on to ripping someone new on a new topic.

"I think with Mike he's just incredibly responsible and aware away from the puck," said John Tavares, who like Dal Colle starred for Oshawa in juniors. "He's got abilities that I certainly didn't have when I was his age. There's nothing for Mike to be down about. You just look at Ryan [Strome], who went back to juniors twice and it didn't hurt his development one bit."

The captain's a good guy.

All I know is Islander fans should not be fighting with each other. We need to fight with Ranger and Caps fans. All kidding aside, as much as I love the Isles they can frustrate the heck out of you. Many of us see they should be much better than they are and it makes it tough.

According to @WFPEdTait, teams linked to Dustin Byfuglien (UFA next year) over summer included BOS, NYI, NYR, PIT, PHI, MTL, MIN, and EDM.

No idea how reliable this is, but found it over in the Pens blog.

They should add more teams to list bc almost every team could use Buff in top 4...

Oh btw, hows Crosby & Kessel doing...

One is missing testicles.

And the other is Kessel, I think he's doing OK.

I hope the new goal horn does not stop Buff from signing with the Islanders?

good news on halak. just need him healthy. losing hickey hurts our depth and opens the door to capuano to over use strait, but it also could provide pulock an opportunity (although someone's going to have to play the other side if pulock plays the right side)

interested to see what they do with this.

I always thought the "defenseman on the off-side" thing was overblown. I played defense my entire life, am a LH shot and I prefer the right side. Of course, I don't have to perform at that level though.

It's going to be Strait.

Top 4 lines for #Isles same as previous practices, fifth line is 90-13-16. Boulton skating as 8th D-man today.

This pretty much tells you all you need to know about what the lineup is going to be to start the year.

The lines are:

Lee-JT-Strome
Bailey-Nielsen-Okposo
Nelson-Grabo-Kulemin
Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck
Bernier

Petrov will go to the AHL, Barzal will go to back to Seattle. Boulton will probably be released from his PTO and sign with BPT.
