Also, I learned while I was studying in London that Fosters is actually a British beer. Good thing for you guys. That beer is horrendous. But an Aussie that doesn't drink? Horse poop. One of my professors at ND was an Australian priest and even he drank with the best of them.

Not the best game, but not surprised with this lineup. Bonino has looked pretty decent and I think a Bennet/Bonino/Dupuis third line could actually be pretty solid. Scuderi is Scuderi'ing all over the ice. Gonch is done. Too many penalties.

Went down to band practice came up to the game being much closer than I thought it could be, that must mean Montreal is terrible again this year and they will get bailed out by Price again. I think tomorrow will be another 1/4 lineup and then the Youngstown game will be close to the full lineup, so if you can only see one game this week thats the one to watch

Pouliot is going to have to go to WBS just to get his confidence back his luck has been much worse than his game.

When you spend about 12 million MORE on defense than most teams, you'd hope its better. Sadly for you guys, its not that much better, and it'd wouldn't be at all without Price. You keep talking about this high and mighty Pens offense... Our team was a shell almost the entire season last season. Fully healthy our second line was Dupuis-Malkin-Comeau. Doesn't matter how good the players on the first line are, any team can stop a one line team. Scoring just three less goals than us wasn't a large accomplishment last season.

Don't act like your team's strategy is flawless. If you had a shot at Kessel you would have gone after him as well since your team is also in need of goal scoring. Guarantee your GM would lose some money tied up in some of your overpaid d men to acquire Phil at 6.8 AAV. Don't be silly. Yeah our defense isn't great. Your forwards aren't great which is just as big a problem. "But you only scored three more goals!!!" See above.

I like Carey Price but your fan base makes me want him to come back down to earth so damn bad so you can understand that your team is just as flawed as anyone else's in the league. How are you gonna call us out for early round exits when your team is guilty of the same. You didn't get past TBL this past year and you won't this coming year either. Even with your elite goaltending you guys just can't stand up to a more complete team like TBL or NYR.

So yeah, we'll go ahead and sit down but you should probably take a seat right next to us. At least the Pens know we have something to prove. The Habs don't know that they've got something to prove as well and that will be your downfall.
