I don't normally have a lot of negative things to say about this team BUT this is a special game for a town that WON this game and the lineup the Penguins sent is AWFUL. Not a big fan of how the Penguins handled this game that is happening in THEIR state. The Lightning sent all their guys.

Blame the NHL. I had this discussion with lightnings fans. If you want the team to take the game seriously make it a serious game. When it comes down to it its still only a preseason game and the penguins are still a NHL team. So the game and the team should and will treat it as what it is.

Damn you see that miserable little girl wearing a Crosby jersey? Probably found out Crosby isn't playing and is gonna become a Flyers fan now.

Can't fault the Penguins, to do so shows a lack of understanding about the logistics of this game.

Half the presumed opening night roster played last night. Half playing tonight. All will play tomorrow night. Only other option would have been to have an all-AHL roster last night or tomorrow night, and an all NHL roster tonight.

TB didn't choose to honor Johnstown by bringing all their NHL guys, they simply did not have three games in three nights to worry about.

Just another game with one good line and getting blasted out of the building. Not sure what they are trying to prove at this point? They pretty much know who's in the opening night lineup and who isn't. And I don't agree with all the people saying Scuds is sticking. He has yet to be paired with another dman that is going to make the team in both practice and the games he's played. I think and hope he's on the outside looking in.

There is zero point in playing our big boys more than we need to. With injuries that this team usually sustains why tempt fate. Furthermore one could read between the lines on the scuds thing. He is playing more.because his place on this team is far from secure. I think there is a small amount of value to him. But the horse is dead on this topic.

(frank). Just found out that my poop ass apartment complex in their stupid decision to have DirectTV included has Fox Sports Network and not NBC Sports Network. Welp... I guess I'm missing the entire hockey season...

This is a national game on TV with some press... its for Johnstown PA and their fans for accomplishing the honor of having the game... This is a national game on TV with some press... its for Johnstown PA and their fans for accomplishing the honor of having the game... Crosby should be playing, they could play anyone else with him but he should be in the lineup he is the face of the Penguins and the NHL not Malkin. I won't change from that opinion. I had Comcast last year and had no problems with it. According to everyone they are satan though

That's what I'm gonna have to do. I just hate the choppy, laggy nature of first row sports. I have no issue doing it when the pens aren't televised but it's gonna piss me off when they're televised on a standard channel and I don't get it.
