Apparently she commented late tonight saying she still intends to take this until the bitter end despite her attorney ditching the case. I assume she'll have plenty of other lawyers willing to do it if they feel like she has even a slim chance since the publicity is great for them.

You have to think Kane hates this even though it solves a lot of problems for him. He can't prove conclusively that he's innocent since the evidence was tampered with. He'll always have the cloud hanging over him.
